Round a number to a set number of decimal places.

Syntax

ROUND(number, num_digits)

Arguments

number: The value to round.
num_digits: Decimals to keep. 0 = nearest whole. Negative rounds left of the point: -3 → nearest 1000.

Examples

=ROUND(1234.567, 2)

→ 1234.57

=ROUND(1234.567, -2)

→ 1200

Good to know

Rounds half away from zero (2.5 → 3, -2.5 → -3).
