Syntax
SUMIF(range, criteria, [sum_range])
Arguments
- range
- Cells to test against the criteria.
- criteria
- A value, text, or expression in quotes: 100, ">100", "North", "<>"&A1, "North*".
- sum_rangeoptional
- Cells to add. Omit to sum `range` itself.
Examples
=SUMIF(A2:A100, "North", C2:C100)
→ total sales for North
=SUMIF(B2:B100, ">="&E1)
→ sum of values ≥ E1
