GST API Console

The official GSTN taxpayer APIs, catalogued. Run the read-only lookups through a connected GST Suvidha Provider — the encrypted GSTN handshake happens on our server.

Endpoint paths and versions follow the GSTN developer portal and are adjusted against your sandbox when live calls are wired. Nothing you enter is logged against you; the GST-portal session is held in memory only.

How it works

  1. Pick an endpoint from the catalogue on the left.
  2. For taxpayer APIs, enter a GSTIN and verify the OTP GSTN sends to its registered contact.
  3. Fill the parameters and run it — the JSON response is decrypted and shown, with an integrity (HMAC) check.

FAQ

What do I need to use the console?
The site operator must have connected a GST Suvidha Provider and enabled the console. GSTN does not permit direct API access — calls route through a licensed GSP with its own credentials and IP whitelisting.
Why does it ask for an OTP?
Taxpayer APIs (returns, ledgers) require a GST-portal session for that GSTIN. GSTN sends a one-time password to the taxpayer's registered mobile and email; the session then lasts a few hours.
Can I file returns from here?
No. This build runs only read / search / status / download endpoints. Filing endpoints are listed for reference but disabled.
