Keyword Density Checker
Paste your page copy to see which words and phrases repeat most, as a count and as a percentage of total words. Choose one, two or three-word phrases and optionally ignore common stop words.
Density is a phrase's count divided by the total word count. There is no ideal number — modern search engines don't reward a target density, and anything that reads as stuffed (roughly above 3–4% for a main term) works against you. Use this to spot over-repetition, not to hit a quota. Nothing is uploaded.
FAQ
- What's a good keyword density?
- There isn't one. Search engines don't reward a target percentage. Use this to catch unnatural repetition — if a term is well above ~3% it probably reads as stuffed.
- Why are common words missing?
- By default stop words like 'the', 'and' and 'of' are ignored so the real topic terms stand out. Turn that off to see everything.
