Add up numbers, cells and ranges.

Syntax

SUM(number1, [number2], …)

Examples

=SUM(B2:B100)

→

=SUM(B2:B10, D2:D10, 500)

→ multiple ranges plus a constant

Good to know

  • Text and blank cells are ignored. To add with a condition use SUMIF / SUMIFS.
