A close estimate, not your exact payslip. It assumes a simple CTC where the only employer cost outside gross pay is PF (and gratuity if you tick it), employee PF at 12% of basic, and TDS spread evenly over 12 months. Real structures add allowances, NPS, insurance and reimbursements, and professional tax varies by state. Nothing is uploaded.

How to use it

  1. Enter your annual CTC and the basic-pay percentage from your offer letter (usually 40–50%).
  2. Tick whether employer PF and gratuity are inside the CTC.
  3. Pick the new or old tax regime; for old, add your 80C / 80D / HRA deductions.
  4. Read the monthly in-hand figure and the CTC-to-take-home table.

FAQ

Why is my actual salary slip different?
Real CTCs add allowances, reimbursements, insurance premiums and employer NPS, and companies deduct TDS unevenly through the year. This is a close estimate from a simplified structure, not a payslip.
Is employer PF part of my CTC?
Usually yes — most Indian offer letters include the employer's 12% PF contribution in the CTC, which is why in-hand is well below CTC ÷ 12. Untick the box if your CTC is quoted excluding it.
Which regime gives more in-hand?
The new regime almost always wins unless you have large deductions — high 80C, health insurance, home-loan interest or HRA. The calculator lets you compare both.
