What does an IFSC code look like?
Eleven characters: four letters for the bank, then a 0 (reserved), then six letters or digits identifying the branch — for example SBIN0001234.
Can this find the branch?
No. It names the bank from the first four letters. For the branch name and address, use the RBI IFSC directory or your bank's website.
